Question
« on: June 06, 2012, 10:13:03 »

Hello,

I have not played ship sim for a long time in fact not this year, i now have a new PC and have been running SS2008 again,

My question really is how does SS extremes run compared to the 2008 version? reading here on the Forums people seem to be having all sorts of problems with it, i have not had many with SS08 in fact its been the 3D engine thats been most of the trouble in the past,

On another question is the JJ and Agile Solution the same in SS Extremes as in SS08 as these are the only ships i use,

        Thanks for any help,

        Cheers,

         Roger.

Hi Roger,
It depends on your actual computer as to how well SSE runs. Many players have no problems, wheras others seem to have many problems. My suggestion is to try downloading the free demo version from the Ship Simulator website and see how you get on. Posting your Dxdiag here on the forum would help for us to see if your machine is up to playing the game. As to "Jumbo Javelin" and "Agile Solution", both ships are in the game and the controls are very similar for "JJ" while "AS" is more or less identical. The appearance of both ships is virtually unchanged. My own computer (DxDiag below) runs the game with no real problems apart from an inexplicably long loading time of nearly 10 minutes!
Regards,
Angus.

Hi Traddles,

after my SSE loading time goes longer and longer. I do that sometimes. And it works, so the SSE loaded fast.
