Orient Star malfunctioning.
« on: April 01, 2012, 04:06:52 »

It seems that whenever I try to steer Orient Star it doesn't respond properly. She will turn in the direction I wish for a short while at a slow rate (14 dpm even if I try to steer all the way). Then the turn rate will shrink and go in the opposite direction at a higher turn rate. This makes river navigation and docking nearly impossible. :P

This problem also sometimes happens with Oceana too, so is it the azipods that are causing it, is it an issue with the game, or am I doing something wrong? ???

Not to sound cliched, but what a long, strange, trip it's been.

Very unusual, try lowering the rate of KTS that the Oceana/Orient Star turns, that *should* help.  !:) This is only a guess since I have not since encountered this glitch.  !:) !:) !:)

nevermind, i found the problem: i was turning too hard.

instead azipods at small turn degrees were enough to move me through rotterdam.
