Hello, i have a copy of ship simulator extremes but the licence key if already valid, can anyone help??

Don't understend you question, but go into you profile, i se you have the key their
if you have steam you most register 2 keys one for steam and one for shipsim

I can't install my game because the key has already been registered by a steam account but as you can see by my profile its my key, so i don't no what to do....

Hi jamster114,

If you have a secondary key, then you need to also register that here on the forum.

Check your steam profile or game info for the SSE purchase. If there is another one there, register that here too.

That's what TJK meant.

Where exactly do you get which precise error message, if I may ask?

Hello Fred, my activation code is registered with another steam account, the key is registered on the forum already but when i insert the disk and get to the part of the instalment when you have to enter the code its invalid and is registered with another account.

So you have two keys from steam, registered on two different steam accounts?

Whatever your account on steam is should not really matter I would think, as long as you register both your keys, if you indeed have two, to the same account.

If you have several accounts on steam, you probably need several copies of the game too, you can't share one game between accounts, as far as I know.. if that's going on, then I wouldn't be surprised there are issues with the activation and such.

If I'm barking up the wrong tree, please elaborate further.

Send a mail their you have bought the game and explain, with steam you should have 2 keys

Then you need to contact steam and tell them that you cannot register there, and they can look into it.

Cause if the problem is on steam, you need the steam customer support.

Your key is registered here and all is well with that. Their side of things is beyond our control. So give them a buzz about it and see if they can look where it's registered and how come that is so, and why it is not free to be used by the rightful owner.

this just to see if I've registered correctly.  I can get onto SEE Multiplay ok, but the "Extremes" label has been missing on my forum left-hand sidebar..abd was asked to "register". 

the SEE CD key is the only one I can find. Purchased game from Steam via DLC..
