Still sinking cargo ships with speed boats

I loaded up shipsim for the first time in ages and actually didn't hop to the por. But instead had a go with the cargo ship. Lovely, nice pint on the desk- knocking the rudder to one side or t'other and back to midship and watching the coast of Marseilles come up then.

BANG. That flaming pilot boat rubbed alongside the plimsoll line and I sank- losing all rudder, thrusters and sense of humour.

I know this isn't a new problem and has been discussed before, but I thought it had been patched to stop this quite unacceptable bug.

It is such a shame that vstep never finished 08 off; I really want to like sse but on principle I won't be parting with any money whilst such poor software is sold as finished. I really do want to like vsteps work once again, but I can not.

As you probably know Vstep aren't going to fix that because of their new game...

Although I agree with you, this is a very small bug compared to what SSE suffers right now.
SS08 is a fully playable and enjoyable game, but it doesn't mean it's perfect.

For what it's worth; the NH servers RotterdamII and Hamburg are damage-free..

That's not the point and we all know it.

vstep are releasing fundamentally flawed and poorly tested software (no offence to beta testers whom I'm sure noted these problems). It is of such basic design with no detail in it whatsoever and only fancy graphics to compensate.

Yet people will carry on buying this rubbish each time pjotr has an idea to release yet another bug ridden game.

For my point, I only come to this forum because (despite appearances!!!) there are some good people here. You only need to look at actual discussion- very little is about this game.
