The Tugs are called: Apex, Phenix and Vortex they do escort the oil tankers from the St Helens and NAB Anchorage of the isle of Wight. However these are not the most well known Solent tugs if ask me the Svitzer tugs are very well known. I live on the Solent coast and see them everyday. I have also worked with Svitzer Southampton and believe me they are more worthwhile to make. They deal with the majority of Solent shipping traffic. My favorite of the fleet is Svitzer Sarah.
