I think he's getting at your obsession is getting the better of you. Here's the story: A ship went too fast through an ice field and hit some ice. It sank. The ship sank. Many people died.
Here's my bugbear with people like you.
"oohh poor tita...zzzz....nic sank." You seldom mention the poor people who died that night. Nor the families in both Britain and America (and Ireland probably) that lost family members and were therefore destitute after, relying on charity.
You are ignorant of any of the history of the period- the general class system that resulted in no thought being given to the 3rd class "working class"- ring any bells, numbnut? They knew damned fine the lifeboats wouldn't accomodate 3rd class. That ship is one symptom of the period, not it's flaming cause.
But you don't see that because it wasn't in the film. That film has a lot to answer for with people of your age.
