It's probably been dealt with before, but I notice that some of the ships used in 2006 do not appear in 2008. It would be nice to bring them in when creating one's own missions. Can they be transferred to 2008? If so how?

You are right, CJ!

The developers are working on the addon-vessels to improve their features for the SS08 use. Those you get back later this year, I fear the other ones are history...

I guess you refer to the inland ships and the mega yacht as it has already been an infinite number of times that the ships from SS2006 add-on will come later this year (read the FAQ or search the forum

).

I haven't heard anything specific about the remaining SS06 ships but they might come along with the SS08 version of the SS06 add-on.

Thanks for the info. The fun of playing a sim like this is in creating your own missions and (is it too much to hope for?) environments and so one doesn't want to lose any of the material/objects that one has.

I have the addon for 2006. Surely I won't have to pay again for the same ships in 2008!

I totally agree! And for sure, with your licence key for the add-on you will get the renewaled one for free.
