Forum viewing problems

Hi all,

Over the past few months the forum seems to be impossible to view via mobile. I have tried the standard browser with my phone (android), as well as Opera's mobile browser, but to no avail.

If I remember rightly however, I could view the forum without any problems at one time. I think there was a time where the forum was put onto a different server (if my memory serves me right ), and since then there's always been what looks like an IP address before the forum's main address: '80.95.161.114'. I wondered whether this 'change over' or whatever happened during that period has made the forum less stable to view on mobile?

My main concern really is that I would like to keep in touch with the odd message now and then whilst I'm at sea...but at the moment I'm not really able to do that

Does anyone else have this problem?

I've noticed the IP insted of a domain name, however, generally having an IP insted of a domain name is better, because the site can still be accessed if your DNS is playing up.
The forum still has the forum.shipsim.com address aswell, so see if you can access the forum via your phone using that address

ive tried accessing the forum in my phone ten times before. if i try to log in, it dosent accept my username and password, even though i spelled them correctly.

i have an LG Accalade, so i dont think the forum may work on that little thing.

time for an upgrade!

For me the forum does show up, but about half of it is missing, making it impossible to post etc.
