I was manoeuvrering with the Pride of Hull at the port side bridge wing to see of i had clearance from the jetty at the aft and suddenly i got overboard  :-\

That's why it's called walkthrough mode. ;D

Had VSTEP used the Aussie term walkabout, we wouldn't be having these problems. :)

I would have thought this would be something Vstep actually had to programme, it seems odd that something quite a few people would like to see in the game is actually there due to a bug! :D

I am new with ss 08 but i have had ss 06 in two yers.
I have a question for Ballast: What is the red an green spots over the stering controls?
I haven´t seen them on my game?

The red and green lights are part of the engine control. They turn the engines on and off. Click under the button under the green light to turn the engines off, and click the key under the red light to turn the engines on.

{edit} I should also mention that the turn engines on/off feature is only available through the 1.1 patch for SS08. Look in the SS08 downloads section on the main Ship Sim page for the patch, if you do not have it already.
