Hi Davy,

It is important that the key you register in your profile is an exact match to the one you used to unlock the game. The two are compared when you attempt to download.

If, for some reason, you have received more than one key, you should enter them all into your forum profile.

It is possible to transpose things when entering your key in the game, because there are perhaps a thousand different keys that will unlock the game—as many as the number of DVDs they expect to stamp from a master.

You can also send your key in a PM to Mad_Fred to be checked.

Marty

On a further note, you might also be blocked by your firewall, if your particular configuration isn't automatically setup by the game, to allow traffic. In that case there isn't any traffic between game and profile and hence the key can't be checked.

Please follow the firewall guide as found in the topic below (first post, third attachment), it's still relevant, apart from  the link to the patches page, but you don't need that. I do assume you're fully patched already.

Hi Grindlepol,

Yes, it’s not quite the right place, a new topic with a more descriptive title would have been better.
No worries for now, though.

Please tell us the server you downloaded from, and the exact file name of the ZIP.
The file was most likely corrupted in transmission. What was your download speed, and did you use a download manager, such as GetRight?
