Sketch-Up triangle count - any one ever used it?
« on: January 23, 2011, 12:49:04 »

Hi,

first off apologies if this isn't the right place - seems suitable to me though

Anyway, I was given a link a few weeks back to This plugin (http://rhin.crai.archi.fr/rld/plugin_details.php?id=546), which counts triangles.

Just wondered if anyone knew how accurate/good it is?

I tested it out, and it gave my optimized Channel Queen a poly count of ~180,000, but the unoptimized one a count of ~120,000, which seems odd (I know the unoptimized one had a slight clean out, but still)

So I wondered if it gave a suitable triangle number for models, such as the CCC, so you can make sure your models are Under the limit, etc.

Many Thanks

TFM
