How do you createt an online multiplayer account for "ship simulator 2008 v1.2.4"

It is a possibility to do multiplayer, in options there is a way to set up a client part, after that you chose a server to play on. playing multi player depent on if there are other players sailing at the same time.
I sailed for hours on empty servers, so multiplay is no garantee that you will sail with a load of people.
I get back to it, I have to start 2008 to be sure on the client part...

yup, you got to make a profile, and connect that first (in multiplayer) next is you chose the right server (all entries in the game have a server. After connection is made (check your firewall to accept shipsim and or questviewer to allow connection) you chose server ship and starting point, and connect.

managed to create an account although the servers are all completly empty.
