Ship Management Game
« on: October 19, 2010, 14:55:53 »

I hope everyone is enjoying Ship Simulator Extreems!
Im finding it a very enjoyable game to play!

My question here, is not related to Shim Sip extreems, hence placing a thread in this section of the forum. But, along side Ship Sim im a big Airline Simulator fan, I enjoy setting up my own airline, choosing aircraft/seats and routes etc.... I wanted to ask/find out...is there a ship/ferry equivalent?

Ever since playing Ship Sim ive wanted to play a game which would let me choose ships/ferries and set up routes etc...basically run my own shipping/ferry company. Do any of you know if such a game exists?

I fancy setting up my own P&O North Sea Ferry company and running routes out of Hull that P&O should!

Hope all that makes sense!

I only have the demo Ryan, but by the looks of things I think it is adding the money to your account.
See...

That was after 4 sailings.

EDIT: I thought you might like to know though coyote, I have played both demos.
Ports of call: deluxe 2008  &  Ports of call: XXL .

And in my honest opinion, the Deluxe 2008 may seem better as it was intended for commercial retail but!!
It is only available to manage a container ship copmany!!
Where as the XXL game is available to manage a company what ever you want it to be!
Cruise ships, ferries etc.

And it is soooo much more detailed, like choosing the cargo fuel consumption etc.
Even the guy who makes them admitted he preferred that version!
If you do buy the XXL one you also get to play 3D as well!
And you can add infinite ships like well known cruise ships and ferries and over 200 more 3D ports! :O

Look at all the add on ships!

Cool! I never know POC was that packed. For the POC 3D 2 thing, it is 40 Euroes, or about 55 Dollars, though. More than SSE  :-\ And gold and silver offers you do not get full features  :-\
