Help with taking the ropes off? :S

I can't take the ropes off!
Before the ropes was marked with [X] but not now :S

At the bottomside right at the screen you see several icons. Click the 4th one (the chain icon) and than select  the boulder at top of that three icons. Then you see your ropes at the titanic marked with a red cross. Click and gone is the rope....

Or you could press F5....although it does do the same as akkres said
