Processors for gaming - a guide by Tom's Hardware
« on: November 29, 2010, 13:22:34 »

Here is an article I came across on the Net but published in April 2010 by Tom's Hardware

I trust it would help those planning on an upgrade and on the lookout for a 3.0 Ghz processor recommended for SSE.

Please see attached PDF.

Thanks Vin_Sun. I did note it does not include any laptop processors, just an observation  :)

Hi Vige,

Agree with your observation. Dug around a bit and managed to find something. Here are two links which I hope will have some useful info for laptops.

Having saved money, worked hard, and investing wisely.... plus it started out with 2 different vid cards, and less ram , and one less HD, i have just kept adding to it. taking Alienware to court and winning helped too.

Why did you take Alienware to court?

I bought one of their systems and it failed 5 times in a year (motherboard) and they refused to honor the warrenty after 6 months even tho I had a 3yr warrenty. This was back pre dell days so the qa sucked. I got a dell after that and have had it since. Tho I'd NEVER Reccomend an alienware to anYone. Ther cs and tech support is deplorable.
