Shipspotting places/Scedules

Does anyone know any good shipspotting places in the Hoek of holland and rotterdam because on wednesday im going to the hoek and rotterdam on the new ship


Does anyone know where i can find a scedsle for the ships in rotterdam /hoek ??

i have some spotting places
black: the pier
orange: its the berghaven there you can see pilot vessels ( and maybe the apollo  ;) )
red: there is a little hill where you can see ships that are coming out of rotterdam and if you look at the sea you can see the maeslantkering its for the hill

Hoy,
When you drive to Maasvlakte Oil Terminal.Just before the windmills started,you can drive left up to the "beach".You are than more closer to the harbour-entrance.
I hope this explanation will do,or gets you any closer.

I think that wednesday was couple of months ago. :)

But if you find yourself (for no apparent reason) in Helsinki, then this is the a good place for spotting for ships (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKfpWzaI2zA). In that vid one of the largest ferries on the baltic, and 8. largest in Europe (if we believe in wikipedia) passes that very spotting point.
