SSE RUNNING ON A LAPTOP
« on: October 21, 2010, 02:03:21 »

Hya Guys,

I'm happy to tell you all that the SSE had just been tested on a TOSHIBA laptop and she is running well.

Since from the begining of the month I had another laptop AVELL and the SSE was running good as well.

Rgds,

Good to learn that SSE is performing well on a laptop ........ but I guess it does not matter whether it's a Toshiba or Avell or Dell or Sony or Acer ........ it's just about having a machine whose specs confirm to the minimum system requirements of SSE.

Maybe you could reveal the configuration of your Toshiba and it would assist others who wish to run SSE on a laptop.

I got my laptop late 2009, and it was one of the best.
And it runs SSE very poorly.  :-\

And it's not the make of the laptop that means it will work!

Hello,
My Laptop:
Acer Aspire 5943G
Intel I7-7200QM
4 GB Ram
Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5850 1GB Ram

It runs with 25 Frames (Fraps) in highest Quality
It`s very important to modify the 3D-options in the Catalyst-Center for best results.

It's mad really, a laptop runs the game better than my desktop system! ;D

Just goes to show how much technology has changed since 4 years ago :)
