Will the original harbors like New York and Hamburg still be in the SS08 version?

I almost forgot. Will the old ships and the add-on ships be there as well?

I'm not sure about the harbours but I know that the ships will eventually be added, once they have been updated for Ship Sim 08, but they won't be in the initial release.  However, I think the Titanic may be included.

Oh-oh.   Beginning to worry now.   Always assumed that the new ports and ships were to be an upgrading of and addition to existing but it now looks like a whole new animal.   Having paid out good money for the add on pack are we going to have to buy the same ships again when they are modified to suit 2008?   If we had known this at the time we needn't have bought the addons, just waited for the new sim.
Methinks we have to seriously think about buying the new sim as against keeping what we already have.
Regarding the Titanic.  Wherever we take it in the sim it is pretty obvious that she would never have gone there. Could we not change the colour scheme and at least have a ship which may have gone there?

Well I would like to know how the people wo dont got the add-on wil get the ships. Geusse they will have to buy it as an add-on for 2008 right.
