I suggest that you write to Paradox with the list of things you want them to add to the game. That would take some of the load off of VSTEP.

I think you'll find that he was being sarcastic.

Look, Marty- there's no need for that sarcasm, is there? It wasn't a rant about XYZ missing, just a harmless discussion about lighting. No need for that.

EDIT: TFM, thanks for the Spinny photo... Agreed, it isn't too lifelike, but the newer route of DCITSE does have lighting that lokks good. So mvsmith permitting, who knows for the future?

Stu, the point of my sarcasm was the mistaken idea that Paradox was the developer of SSE and should be the one to contact for additions/corrections.
Read the post immediately above mine.

In that case, I withdraw my accusation of sarcasm fully.

I can not imagine what on earth posessed me to assume you were being sarcastic to people generally. That is, after all, quite unlike you.

Steering away from all that...

the one thing we do need are harbour Entrance indicator lights for places like, Dover, Calais Cowes etc...

so you know where the Harbour Entrance is  ;)

Such as others allready pointed out, light on the bridge is not good seamanship.

Allso decklights are not good seamanship. (unless if you are anchoring or moored)
I spent this summer 7 weeks on a cargo ship and everybody told me to close the curtains at night if I use my cabin lights. Biceaus all lighting should be reduced to a minimum, so that the navigational lights are easy to see from a distance.

This is same like ss08, maybe even faster, that people allready start asking for things.
(Even if they dont know what they are talking about)

Sam,

Relax, take a deep breath... He was talking about lights on the harbour wall, not the bridge...

No one here is demanding anything, just a harmless discussion about lighting...

Jesus, I think I'll change the subject name to "harmless topic about lighting. No one is demanding anything. Allright?"

Now all we need is some decent bridge/deck lights :)

This is what I mean.

The Ferry Man is right, I like his suggestion.
But I keep my standing point.

You can name your topic wathever you like, if it makes you happy.
