AI ships taking evasive action

Hi guys,

On the first pre-order bonus mission, I got lucky when an AI coast guard cutter turned violently to it's port just when I almost crashed into it. So does AI ships in SSE know how to take evasive actions to avoid collision? And well done with the Sydney scenery as I was marveling at the work of art and did not see the cutter until.....

That was my thought too....on the trip from San Fran through the Islands, there was a couple of speed boats and a huge liner in the channel, and they all seemed to steer away from my path....if that's the case, then it's a welcome change from being a target for them

Yes they do take evasive action now..  they try their best not to hit you.

thats a relieve! i cant tell you how many times when playing ss08 the frustration it brought ot me when backing into a channel or something with limited manueverablity and getting straight rammed by something or them stopping at the utmost last second by whcih time i had already tried to avoid a collision and would end up smashing a wall or something
