Good morning, have just installed update for 2008, would someone tell me what left hand throotle levers do and what a green light in front of levers, on the Hovercraft,  is there an update manual that shows update levers etc, or should it be obvious what they are, and at 75 brain is not as sharp as it was.
Any advice will be much appreciated by Redpost    :-[

the green/red lights are the on/off switches,

The left control is for the left fan, and the other two are for trust.

A little late in replying but here goes.

The red and green lights are dual purpose.
Green when your engines are running, red when they are shut down.
If the red lights come on while your engines are running, it indicates severe damage to your ship.

The furthest control levers labeled to the left "High Idle" controls the lift fans.
Push the throttle up to lift her up, throttle down to land her (comes in handy for stopping quickly).

The next set of smaller throttles controls the thrust fans.
Since the fans only run in one direction, you won't see reverse here.
(However, you can cheat a little and just use the down arrow for reverse).

The little black knob controls the vector nozzles, similar to a bow thruster, but just vented exhaust from the gas turbine engines.

Experiment with turning the knob and watch the little nozzles up front follow your turn.

For true reverse (albeit very slow reverse), rotate the black knob 180 degrees so the vector nozzles face forward.

Expect quite a bit of sliding in the turns with the hovercraft as it is riding on a cushion of air.
