Greetings All Members,
It has been sighted that The Viking Towing Company, in recent times, has declined in its usage. And after the founder, Mark Ervine, spoke with me, it was suggested and agreed that the members of the Viking Towing Company have the option to transfer to IJTS. The Viking Towing Company’s Forum will be dismantled, and the closure will take effect this weekend. All members at VTC will receive Personal Messages notifying them of this.
At IJTS: At IJTS, we’re very happy to welcome all those from VTC, and are looking forward to sailing on Multiplayer
as one. In celebration of the two collaborating, there will be an event held this weekend on the {IJTS} Server for all those to participate in. Kindly ‘hosted’ by our friend Ballast.
Although it is a shame that the VTC Forum will no longer remain, it is, I believe, a good thing that we all share the
same interests, and are wanting to help keep the Online Community going. And I’d like to thank Mark in particular, for his input and kindness towards IJTS since its opening - as well as many other members, who are both registered at IJTS and VTC.

At VTC: As of late things have been on the decline for the Ship Sim Community, as people become impatient for the long awaited SSE. This downturn has effected the community's fan sites and forums. A number have folded or have seen significant declines in members and activity. Sadly, VTC has been feeling this of late and rather than completely fold, we have decided to merge with IJTS (Irish Jacks Towing Service). This has not been a decision that has came about overnight, but has been on the cards for a few weeks. IJTS is a towing brand name on Multiplayer, with its own forum and online MP server. Both parties have similar ideas about MP and how important it is. For this reason, the two parties have united on this front.
VTC will be incorporated into IJTS as IJTS. All members are welcome to join us in our move to IJTS, as this could be the next exciting chapter in the SS MP series. Over the next few days the current VTC Forum will be closed down and any important content shall be moved to the IJTS forum.
At this point I would like to thank everyone who has contributed in one way or the other over the past few months from TJK, Jim and Erik right down to our valued members.
This is not the end, just the beginning of a new chapter!
