Programmable Keyboard
« on: August 29, 2007, 14:19:18 »

Has someone already tried the following product:

MFP (Multi Function Panel) from CH Products - http://www.chproducts.com/retail/mfp.html

This is a fully programmable Keyboard with 25 Keys which can be placed everywhere on the Panel. 25 additional Keys are available so total would be 50 Keys.

I wonder if this panel would work with SS2008 standard and pro?

Any suggestions?

Hi,

there's no reason it wouldn't work with shipsim : it works as a keyboard, except that you can position your keys wherever you want, to give a layout closer to whatever you want.

That's a very nice idea, and I've read several very positive reviews about it, but to my mind the price if far too high for what is nothing more than a 25 keys keyboard ...

I have the Ergodex version of that controler, I haven't bothered setting it up since the console controls on the HUD seem to work for me.  One day I'll quit being lazy and set it up.
