Hi foldinglemon,

Well, it's better than what you have now I suppose, but it's still not really enough I am afraid.

The minimum ATI card suitable for the game, is a 9600 Pro. And that's bare minimum. That might still make the game choppy and slow. The 9550 will most likely run it, and perhaps better, but don't expect miracles or great performance. My experience was that the lower end ATI cards do not perform as well as their Nvidia equivalents, with Shipsim..  :-\

Fred

My son upgraded his PC and gave me the motherboard with Intel Pentium dual core processor E6600  2.4 GHz and 2 GB RAM (DDR2). Also gave me a MSI nVIDIA 8500 Graphic card.
Now I have a motherboard with processor Pentium 4   3.0 GHz   RAM 2 GB (DDR). Graphic card ATI 9550. Any idea about which of the above  configurations is better for ShipSim 2008?
