If you have lost your license key, and you do not have shipsim still installed on your pc (old or new), and you did not buy it directly off of the website, then the only thing you can do, is show Vstep some proof of purchase, if you have that. A receipt of some kind, to show that you have a legal copy.

If you can do that, send this, along with the request for a new license key and the reason, to info@shipsim.com.

If you do not have any proof of purchase, then I am afraid nothing can be done. You yourself are responsible for your belongings, and the safety/whereabouts of those. Sorry.

Normaly when you have original cd's then you have also the Ship Simulator PC DVD box.
and in the inside off the box you find 1 ore 2 Licence key's.

When you have registered those keys here in the forum then you can see them in your Personal Profile  under Registered license keys:

Like i know you probaly get this all the time that people lost their passwords and stuff. But if u have email i can email you pics of my game disk, manual, original package box and reciept from EB Games. Like i never registered online cuz when i bought it may of 2008 I just installed it right a away and went to work on my boat, im a student that is in a marine navigation program. I dont know what I did with the licence key. Thanks for the help from those of you had constructive answers. I sent an email to info@shipsim.com so I hope they can help. But to those out there who are just writing to discurage people from helping me, I sugest to send me you email so I can prove to you that I am not lying. And if you dont want to coraspond than keep your coments to yourself, thank you
