controllers
« on: January 30, 2010, 09:53:29 »

Evening from New Zealand,
With all the excellent add-ons for the simulator, a problem arises.
For example: Bugsier 2 and other vessels, one has two engine controllers, if one uses the up/down keys, no problem. The power increases , but is not controllable. Either it is stop or full speed.
Using the mouse, how can you use both engine controllers together??
The manual is no help and I am at a loss to figure it out.
Any help would be appreciated, a new manual perhaps??

Thank You,
Benjamin.

This is impossible. (I Think)

What I would do if I were you:
1. I'd turn off the engine
2.Set the speed I want
3.Then turn the engines on again and off you go

Hope this helps,

Hi kiwikid,
If you use the attached guide by "mvsmith" you will perhaps find it easier to control Bugsier 2.  I think you would find it a great help and it  would add to your enjoyment of the game if you studied the great stuff available here:-

To make the arrow keys controlleble press "shift" whilst using the arrow keys. You can control how much power you want and it controls both engines at the same time. Same for steering.

Hi kiwikid, welcome to the forum..
About your throttle problem: sounds to me like you have "Precision Steering" turned off..
Go to Settings-Controls and switch it on..
While you're in that menu, you can assign some commands to keys..
Such as: Engine 1+2 ahead - Arrow Up, Engine 1+2 reverse - Arrow Down..
Bugsier doesn't have an actual Engine Reverse..To go backwards you must turn the azipods.. ;)
