Don't worry, Capt C. After my 5,000+ posts, I have caused enough misunderstandings to have kept the goderator and admins busy for most of the time.
There are many professional mariners on the forum, who take a very special view on ships, almost as if they were people. That's why sinkings can build up emotions- even empty ships... as I saw when the Scylla was dumped off the Cornish coast.
As for the moderators, most of the goderators are really good here and balance their supreme power with temperance and wisdom. Rarely do they ever act badly to members (and if they do vstep will remove them, albeit slowly). (Tore is one of the good guys!)
