Ah. I see the snag in my arguement... Based on the quality of humour from modern television, I suspect people DO need to be told when to laugh...

You continue to surprise me! I didn't know there was any humour on modern TV, apart from the Brown Show that is!

I was being a bit cynical..Canned laughter is most annoying..I suspect even Top Gear has it now.. :thumbdown:
Of course, they need it, as they aren't as funny as they used to be ..
