you should have more rpm on the bugsier 2 because when i go into a harbour to dock i can't get the  boat to turn under  5 knots. because the rpm is low the azimuth controls turn but the boat does not

Hmmm, that's strange! Because the tug shows a very realistic behaviour in almost every situation. Please explain your problem more detailed! Beside that, the indicated rpm's are quite okay.

because i could sink the boat in the harbour if it does turn under 5knots cause i could take the side of the boat in

I think that you don't know verry well how to handle the bugsier 2, beceaus I can turn it verry well under 5 knots.

Could you please be a little bit more clear, I can't really understand what u are saying.

This has nothing to do with developments, really. I think that "General Discussions" is more appropriate for a discussion about how to handle Bugs2.

I'll move it there on that basis.

As the proud master of the "Bugsier 2" told me whilst trying myself to handle it: "This tug can do everything except flying!" Well, and that's right, you can do every manoeuvre you want: forward, backwards, sideways and in every combination you could imagine. It's just a question of some training and a little bit of talent. ;)

And yes Sam, I still have just a little idea what thaino want's do explain to us.. ::)

Correct Terry! I would have done that, but I'm not allowed... :D

Hi Bottman.

No problem my friend.

I thought that Thaino would be more likely to get assistance from other members if the post was put into General Disussions. As long as it was in the Development section, he would be more likely to get grumbles...

@ Thaino, can you give us a photo of your situation? You should do a screenshot not a photo with F7, so we can see the rpm's etc.

moving the bugsier 2 dead sideways is quite easy to me just put one ahead one astern and turn them slightly inward and as your moving make slight adjustments. well then again i grew up around tugboats so... :P
