Files Scattered everywhere...

Hi guys,

I came back in today, turned on the computer, looked into my documents for my project, and found that everything had changed and was jumbled up. As in, before, everything was sorted by date, now, its sorted by the letter, and Its a pain!

Nobody else has been on the computer, as far as I'm aware, so nothing should have changed-Any ideas how I can change it back to normal?

Hi Jack,
I'm not sure what you mean, but if you are talking about the way files are listed in a particular folder:
In XP you can click View > Details and click on the head of the "Date Modified" column to sort by date.
In Vista you can select the column headings to be displayed—in any view—by right-clicking on the headings bar and then checking those headings that you want to be displayed from the drop-down list.
