Which version do I have?

I am new to this ship sim after buying a copy of the 2008 collectors edition and I must say I am enjoying every moment of it.
I have looked at what patches are available but unsure of which version I have, I looked at the properties and got no info from that is there anyway that I could find out?

in the game in the lower left corner I think it should show what version it is, there it should show a number for the version and one for the build.

And as a sidenote, The Collectors Edition is the V1.4.2 version, and as such, up to date at this point.

His flag says UK, and I imagine it isn't very difficult to find one there

I got my copy here in the u.k from a store called game.

And your right mad_fred it is up to date so no need for the patches.

You mean to say that there are copies of CE in the UK?  No wonder why I can't find a single copy in Canada.

Yes it is much more diffucult to find copies of ship sim games in stores for us north americans, I had to order my SS08 and New Horizons on amazon.
