To be honest, I thought it was quite clever of them to keep him out. As soon as I saw Kubica crash, I knew the safety car was going to finish the race, and I actually said to my brother that they should keep him out. So in my opinion, it wasn't fair, especially when compared to similar things from years gone by (Schumacher comes to mind). F1 is very confusing rules-wise, seems to change every week.

That is exactly why it makes no sense to watch it live.

I initially thought that too, and it was clever. however It was also stupid because of all kinds of safety issues involved in that.  ;)

Actually, there's no issues of safety involved there. The safety car takes them up to a maximum speed of 120mph, and the cars are designed to run on 3 wheels at speeds of 150mph (not picking on Schumacher, but a good example of this is Spa 98, in heavy rain!). Also, there was no chance of his tyre coming off as it's basically tethered to the axle. The FIA really need to start running the sport better now. Everyone's noticing the renewed energy that's been injected into it this year already, so they need to stop being corrupt b******'s and govern properly. Bear in mind, I lost my last bit of faith after Spa 2008. I love this sport, but it's being run by idiots.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised that the race was so exiting, what with the KERS and the new tyre-rules..I may even watch another race.. ;D

KERS has been a surprise for me, definitely. I thought it was just going to be a gimmick, but it does add a new level of fun to it!

Not to go on about this too much, but this video proves that the governing body behind the sport is broken. 3 years old, but still highly controversial in my opinion.

isnt it funny how the greatest sport in the world is run by idiots? No it isnt actually, The FIA are just pathetic, and like Jayshum I lost complete faith in them after spa 2008. However, the sport itself is brilliant and if it wasnt for the silly FIA could be more popular than football if run right.

so on a lighter note, Who are you backing for Mlaysia? Its barrichello for me... ;)

Shock news, but no April Fool's joke I'm afraid.

Lewis Hamilton has been disqualified from the Australian GP. Trulli re-instated to third. :(

Not surprised at the decision. lewis and mclaren lied. they should've been honest, especially how much the FIA hate them. mclaren need to restart the season in Malaysia, start afresh, and have a 16 race championship instead of 17 as they forget about Melbourne...........
