Do you mean: can you load containers on to the ship? If so, yes you can on one mission I think.

if you read the controls to use the crane then you should easilly pick up the containers, but it might be a bug, the game has lots of them

Yes ok thanks then I think I have a bug because I don't see a spreader from the crane to pick up the containers

This problem is discussed elsewhere. You need to have patch 1.1 installed on a new installation of SS08, not over the RC patch.

On ship simulator 2008 which i have, I cannot load the cargo containers properly to allow the mission to be completed despite many many attempts in different areas of the ship.  Can you help please.

I seem to be operating teh crane OK but for some reason no matter where I put the containers, this part of the mission is never completed satisfactorily..

Where do I load the cranes - can someone do a walk through of this mission for me please...this is becoming incredibly frustrating....

Hi Pathways,
It would be helpful if you gave the exact title of the mission because one particular container mission has a special problem.
There are instructions for using the crane in INFO.pdf, which you can download from here:

You can also download the Mission Editor tutorial from the same post. It gives additional information on the crane.
 There is no “flashing dark box”; there is a green arrow pointing down to the place where you must place the container on Vermaas. You should see the green arrow somewhere in the low area forward of the bridge. If the arrow is not there, then there is a problem with the mission.

I had problems with my crane controls. However after I downloaded the latest patch it worked perfectly.
If it still dosent work restart your PC
