Latvia is farther to the U.S. then the U.K. It would probably be summer -ish. But who knows how soon we will be going.

Yes, I know where it is. I have an office in Latvia.

If you intend to stop in the UK as well as Latvia, you'll find the cheapest way is to fly with an airline that goes US => UK and UK => Latvia. Then the return journey will also have a stop in the UK. That works out a lot cheaper than US => Latvia => UK => USA.
