London boat show 2009

Has anyone been to the london boat show this year or is going to? I went today and it was great fun.

Its great fun there, I got to look on board the sunseeker predators 84 and 92, the 2 biggest yachts at the show, after being in a queue for an hour :D. You don't need to book an appointment to see the larger yachts in the exhibition halls, but with some of the companies you have to get a pass form their desk, or wait at a table while being served peanuts :), but you can visit the yachts without booking appointments. You can look around the HMS westminster too, you walk around the ships bridge, and other rooms i've never heard of :), and get to aim a minigun! AND you get to walk around an RNLI severn class lifeboat, so its well worth visiting  :)

I am going when I go to England tomorrow. We travel around a lot, you see - Tortuga :P, Antarctica, Turkey, England, Netherlands, Finland, Germany... I have never been to America - thats strange

I've been to the excel centre, great place, That was for the british motor show though, It was great fun! ;D They got nice sandwich bars there too..........

We had a boat show in Denver a few weeks back. Nothing like that one though!  :o
