thanks for sharing those with us. But as you know, we are all entitled for an opinion - and mine is negative, unfortuneatly.

Those vids make me sick - 9:44 mins of a girl speaking languages and spinning something around in her hand. Or am I missing something important here?

its Homer simpson doing same song, but with a different voice and not that disgusting cartoon girl, but a much better character in her (or rather "it's") place. Even managed me to make me sway to the beat

Try searching for the 'real thing' instead. I think that leek spinning thing is just silly, it makes no sense...

But the song, well. that polka.. is just some old 'folk song', from Finland (I think.)

There's a few clips of an a-capella group that brought this old polka 'back into the spotlights', as I read with one of them.. But that cartoon girl is just nonesense. How such things become a 'hype' really puzzles me...  

Best thing in the world? Eh?  Granted, those singers that do it a-capella, that's pretty well done, that's not easy to sing, even though it's not my taste AT ALL..  but at least that takes skill..

Mythbuster Fred - this myth has been busted already - the solution was call the mythbusters.

No I am joking. I hate this Leekspin thing - it takes skill, it is probably better if people adjusted their skills one something more worthwile and something that will make a living and earn that lovely cash . The trick is to please as many people as possible no matter what job you do - I can see very few like leekspin.

I don't see any mention of spinning some leek.. so that's just silly..  :laugh:

But singing like that or indeed playing the music, that's what takes skill..  Any old monkey can make a clip from some looped cartoon bits..
