Boeing Jetfoil Simulator - What do you think?
« on: July 14, 2008, 12:10:31 »

I recently start to love Boeing Jetfoil, especially model 929. I have searched the web to see if there is a game include Jetfoil or stand-a-lone Jetfoil Simulator, but, unfortunately, there are none games exist.  Do you think it is a great idea to add this wonderful vessel to Ship Simulator (SS) 2009 or just make a stand-a-lone game just for Jetfoils or both, please vote, thanks a lot!  ;D

Take a look the attachment for images of Jetfoil 929.

I have never heard of anything like that before, but Then I checked some images out, and I think it would be really fun to have this in shipsimulator, but but not a stand-alone-game

I think I'd prefer a normal hydrofoil rather than a jetfoil.  Either of them would be cool though

I don't think we can hope to see the dynamics of a high rising foil out of the water. ::) But I think this kind of boat model with all the propper equipment might be expected.

Although I think the idea of a stand alone simulator is kind of unnesicary. ;)

Hello , everybody
I used the jetfoil many times from ostend to ramsgate it was a very cool experience when the ship lifted off ;D ;D ;D
Would be nice to see her in shipsim

there's a  ms flightsim 2004 addon containing two rmt jetfoils  mv prinses stephanie
                                                                                   mv princesse clementine
these are operable vessels  ;)
they can also operate in ms flightsim x
included are the liveries of rmt and ostend lines
kind regards
peter

Hello, RMSGREATBRITAIN
If people can make jetfoil models working for flightsim they sure could be made working for shipsim??
maybe vstep could ask to use these for shipsim  ???
in flightsim these jetfoils are operational when you throttle up the ship lifts up and when you deccelerate the ship glides back on the surface  ;D ;D
so it's possible to have them sailing again it only depends on the developers ;D ;D ;D

Well yes fair point Peter but it would just be another thing for Vstep to do, and they cant do everything. we should respect what they do do instead thinking up new things to what they should do, although saying that suggestions are fine. But if the developers did whatever we asked them to, they would not sleep. ever. They're probably rushed off their feet already, and so this is one of those things that just cant be fitted in im afraid.
