i was just trying to get a vortex effect of a sinking boat. i almost got it but the object wouldn't sink. it was a Britannic model with weight also. the ship refused to go down. i need a pool now. any tips?

when a ship sinks, a vortex is apparently created which sucks people and objects close enough down.

That's what they said. A chef (or Butler) was on the real thing. He says he rode the ships stern all the way down and simply stepped off when she went under, feeling no suction. He was drunk at the time though  ::)

By the way, this same guy can be seen in the Titanic film.

ANYWAY*ahem (*purpose coughing) achen!......

I have never heard of vortex+shiff= anything being pulled underwater with the shiff even though it is not on it but very close to it.
