Its an icebreaking ship and some icebreaking ships (maybe just newer models) use the azipod to smash the ice(going backwards).

Do you have some more information about the vessel?

I think the ship is in a drydock, that is why it is so high.

As shown in my picture, it isn't a containership but a tanker.., and judging by her bow, I think Lanedre is right in saying it's an icebreaking ship..
