« on: August 07, 2008, 16:28:18 »

In this day of master technology...

I want to see some photos from the real world and renders from the digital world and see if we can tell the difference.  Being only a few years from the sigulatity our computers double in power every year and even now we can't tell the difference.

I'll Start us off, Post your comment.

Post some pictures from the real world and some virtual and see if the others can tell you if they think it's real or not. ;D

The last one is the best looking,

You still haven't told me weather you think mine is Real or not... and the idea is not to tell. ;)

Well, I have that addon, for one. And I think the ocean doesn't look 100% convincing either. And compared to the reflection off of the airplane, the ocean should have been lit up and glistening too. Plus, the lights look fake, and the decal of AA isn't that smooth. And well.. it is close, but just not close enough yet. Compared to a few years ago, it is a giant step forward indeed and if this continues onwards, it wont be long now untill we really cannot say what's what. ;D

I get most of my comercial planes from http://www.projectopensky.com/ (http://www.projectopensky.com/)

I'm not a big man though ;) I prefer smaller aircraft like Cessna 404s and Pipers.
