ho do i get bigger waves than 4M waves in ship sim 2008 with the new horizons add on?


also it mentions that you can download new missions from the web , how do i do this?

Hello ireland08,

You cannot get higher waves in SS08, at the moment.

There is a 'loophole' that some people have used, in V1.0, which is closed down in all newer versions.
With an illegal file edit, that will lose you your rights to technical support and your warranty, you can make the waves higher, but the ships will not behave realistic, nor will it look very good.

But you need to have at least V1.3 of the game.

Getting bigger waves has been discussed lots of time : it's not possible any more.

About downloading missions, you have two possibilities :
1. in Main menu, choose Play, Custom Mission . If you've created an online profile inside ShipSim, you'll then have access to thoses missions.
2. Browse this forum, in the Missions sections, and download every mission you want !
