Unrealistic Dimensions / Different Scales?
« on: January 02, 2009, 15:15:47 »

Today in Padstow, i noticed this odd "problem":

The RPA is 12.00 metres wide.
The Igor K is 9.00m wide

Making the Igor.K 3.00m Narrower, right? Well, the Igor.K Cannot pass through the gates into Padstow harbour (See Attached Picture 1) Even at full ahead she cannot pass (see wash from engines)

However, the RPA 12, a ship 3.00m wider, can pass through the gates...(see Attached Picture 2)

How odd...

Should this be reported to the developers?

Hello Nathan,
You are  8) right, from the drawings, Rpa12 is indeed 8.55 m wide (hull 8.20 m), while Igor K. hull is 9.07 m and outside the fenders 9.75 m.

So it's just a fault in the ship particulars? in the game?

So it is actually a fault in the text in the game? It should say for RPA Width: 8.00m ?
