Real dry docks, or floating dry docks? The former we have for example in Hamburg, the latter just as static objects. But maybe in the future - I hope, VSTEP will launch the semi-diver "Fairmount Fjell" some times, so they could use the same technology for the docks perhaps.

Hi Bottman, i did see a video on the "Fairmount Fjell" in Ship Simulator on youtube (During the Ship Sim 08 development) and i always did wonder why it didn't arrive, i also hope it will be here in the future, along with many other new and improved vessels.

Kind Regards
Jack.

It would be nice with those drydocks, because then you could get your ship fixed when damaged

Well I figure this suggestion plays out the typical story,  Yes it would be amazing, but no it will probobly never happen. ::)

Hey, that was just one of my wishes I wrote VSTEP into their upcoming feature list! A new kind of waypoint, which was for repairs or maintenance work, so there is a need to visit a yard, or a dock or just a trouble shooting team from MAN.. ;D

I thought, the still available WP (Trigger engine damage) could work so, that's why I created some missions with it. But unfortunately we can't call off a former damage that way.

Cheers

Try saving game and coming back in - Don't know if it still works but unless the ship has enough damage to start it sinking the loading of a saved game used to bring the ship the ship back with no damage.
Never tried it with engine damage but it's maybe worth a try

it would be cool if you had damage and you pull up to a dry dock and they repair your ship

Perhaps in MP there could be a position where you sit in a controll tower and operate all dry docks in the area? No....Yes ???. Seems cool to me.... ;D.
