laptop mouse pad scroll

on my laptop, my mouse pad's scroll doesn't work. i disabled the scroll lock but it doesn't work still. do i need to restart my laptop? how do i fix it?

hmm, interesting, i've never had that problem with my laptop. Have you checked the setting for the touchpad? Maybe something got changed. If not, yea try restarting, thats an easy fix for a lot of things

i don't know what to do. scroll lock is off, i restarted my computer and i don't know how to check the prefrencess to get the scroll working. can i have some help?

ok, to get to the settings for the touch pad, go to your control panel. Then hardware/hardware and sound. Then one of the next options should be mouse, open that and look in there, see what you find.

i downloaded some programs, took off the scroll lock and restarted my computer. nothing. i need some real help. i can't zoom in on my games.

using the scroll pad on games never worked for me. I always had to reprogram the function to the keyboard, like in shipsim for example.

check if there is dirt in the mouse pad and clean it out if there is but thats all i can think of

if it was me, i'd buy a wireless mouse - cost about £25 ($50)
