Ship Simulator 2009
« on: April 06, 2008, 13:28:59 »

I had just heard of the Ship Simulator 2009, wow, can't wait till it is released! We can explore more harbours, ships and even the Antarctica! What new Ships will there be? I also hope that all the old ships are included! :)

I don't think any news has been released yet. No doubt Vstep are reading comments on the forum looking for ideas of what will or won't be popular.

One hopes that if Antartica is to be included that iceburgs look a little more plausible than those in the Titanic mission...  ;D

I had a feature reqquest for ss09, i hope there are bigger waves, we can control all things aboard the ship, and big waves in harbour areas so we can enjoy tsunamies.

Hello huang yu po peter,
Your choice of words, "enjoy tsunamies" is indeed very poor, in that major tsunamies can kill so many people. It cannot be  :'( enjoyed, I am sure you will agree with that.
What other word  ??? would you prefer to better describe your wish instead of "enjoy"? Suffer? endure?
Regards,
Luc

Hi all :)

I think we all can agree that this is getting out of hand and that we need to get back on topic.

I am sure that huang yu po peter didn't mean to offend anyone, but simply wanted to surf huge waves. Remember that not all in here have English as their first language and some words might come out differently than intended.

TJK, I'm sorry to hear about your loss of a family member, but I believe that you can see that the context of huang yu po peter's post had absolutely nothing to do with the Christmas disaster a couple of years ago.

We can't close every topic dealing with tsunamies as well as we can't close every topic on sinkings. Should we remove all pictures of Titanic sinking because someone know somebody who didn't survive that accident?

My greatest sympathy goes to all who lost family or friends to the waves, and I honestly believe that huang yu po peter feels the same way.

Regards
groennegaard
