Can anyone let me know the size of the add-on download file?

Don't know for certain, but I'm sure someone said it was under 200mb although I could (or certainly) be wrong. Might be a nice idea for the file sizes to be published on the website?

I'm sure someone will confirm this

NH is 205mb, the 2008 add-on (not needed if you are getting NH) 238mb

is that it, i'd thought it would be like 1000mb seen though some of the patches on this website are 500mb

Yup that's it!! remember that patch you are talking about added the multiplayer option so it was a huge patch and the majority of the files needed for NH are already there with ShipSim. I'm not sure if you could load NH with a 1.0 version of Ship Sim but that's the size mine was anyway
