Calling Google Sketch Up users
« on: January 27, 2008, 05:29:23 »

If you are looking at this post you probably know that "Sketchup" can't save as any other 3D file format but its own... :(

Yet "Sketchup Pro" can. :)
and it costs about 600 American Dollars. :(

But with the power of the internet we are able to shift around files like there nothing :D

So for any one out there who has Google Sketchup Pro and wants to help please wright back.

I suspect that your suggestion would be illegal llamalord.

Those who do not have Sketchup Pro do not have this tool for a reason. The free version users are not supposed to be able to have this possibility, otherwise it would have been in the free version aswell.  ;)

So letting someone else do it for you might be illegal. This workaround souns like a piracy issue to me, of sorts.

I'm no legal expert and I don't know if it applies if you "give away" your model to someone else, but I will try to get a permanent answer to that.

Untill then (and possible after) I suggest you do not further discuss this anymore.

Topic locked untill further notice.

Thanks,
Fred
