Well now that Ship Sim's Multiplayer is in full swing and there is at least 1 group already I thought I would add some competition for them
I know there are some Oggies here so we'll see who all of you are and let you know there is a home for you! Hopefully we can eventually get some members together and have Fleet / Clan/ Guild/ whatever you want to call it activities. All MMO's have these and why should Ship Sim be any different?? So here's some answers to some questions that may come up:
What's an Oggie??Well if you have ever played other MMO's such as Everquest, WOW or others, the Oggies (i.e. OGRE) are the ones that are extremely head strong and will charge straight into battle no matter what the consequences are.
How would an Oggie fit into Ship Sim?All MMO's have Oggies!!! If you are one that loves the challenging missions and will come into a port at full speed and then do full reverse engines at the last possible moment then you are an Oggie!!!
Ok,, I guess I'm an Oggie!! Why should I join this fleet??All Oggies need a home!! Also as we get more Oggies we can start to have friendly competitions with the other fleets! Not to mention look at our name OggyHouse "The Place for Oggies!!" All Oggies are welcome!
What does OggyHouse have to offer me?We have a full time dedicated TeamSpeak server as well as our website OggyHouse "The Place for Oggies!!" (http://shipsim.oggyhouse.com/) where you can put your adventures up for all to see and admire. Also once we get enough Oggies we can have Fleet Operations in Multiplayer (i.e. a full fleet of cargo and fuel ships with support moving supplies from one port to another) as well as any other activity you think you would like!
