Since there has been a few comment's on these i wondered how many member's
like myself think that they add to the enjoyment of the game.

Hiya Eric,

I can't say I'm too fond of easter eggs in simulators. Not in any game, really, unless they blend in with the rest, so to speak. Some games have them in the form of weird and funny messages and/or jokes, that don't seem to stick out in their environment. I like those, but when they are (somewhat) unrealistic graphics that stick out like the ones in SS08 do, they are not my cup of tea, really.

I read quite a few statements from players aswell that seem to indicate they're not well 'hidden' either and pop up at random sometimes without the player typing in any of the messages.This is not very enjoyable when you avoid triggering them, yet and are still bothered by them.

But to each his own, I guess..

I don't really like them.
It's a ship simulator and I don't think there should be any easter eggs in it.

The easter eggs are just fun little bits that pop up and have no real impact on the game.  I like them myself because even the best game can start to become boring at some point and then all of a sudden you run across one of these and it sparks new life for you.  But yeah they shouldn't go crazy with them and have tons of them.
