Nice models !   :) ;D

I hope V-step develops a Navy Add-On in the future. With aircraft carriers, Destoryers, Frigates, Corvettes, Minehunters, Submarines etc etc.  That would be nice !  ;D

Thanx,

Yours looks nice also.

If Vstep is interested in the models i could ask my modeller if he agrees to license it to Vstep.

Hi

Looking GOOD! In fact it's not just the Explorer it's any of the Royal Navy's P2000s. I served on HMS Exploit when she was known as XSV Exploit (XSV = Auxiliary Service Vessel) back in the 80s when I served with the Royal Naval Auxiliary Service (RNXS) in Inverness Scotland

All these models very are nice!

I remember the RNXS P20's well, my Dad served in those, and the Fleet Tenders (i remember the XSV Glencoe fondly, first ship larger then a yacht that i ever steered) but i always liked the Ham class minesweepers...

Purhaps we should vote for an inclusion of small naval craft (not for shooting with!) including the MVS Appelyby....?  ::)

A warship or two would be ideal to have running out of Portsmouth and down the Solent

I know that this is a tech question, but it does follow this thread. As I'm new to the forum & SS06 how do you go about designing ships and missions? I agree the odd Grey Funnel Line ship would be good to have a mission with. If the answer is already on the forum could some one point be to the thread.  ;D

Hi, well i'm afraid you can't add your own ships to the game yet. But you can do missions. You need V1.1 and th emission editor installed with SS08.

Here is the info you need! (http://www.shipsim.com/ShipSimForum/index.php/topic,2361.0.html)

Easy solution! We ask for a model of a British Destroyer... complete with guns, but (in keeping with MOD budgets) no ammunition to fire, so it wouldn't be so hard to put in the sim...

:O another boat im in love with  ;) finally something thats military, taken there probably wont be any working guns if added to the game, but why do all the ships in game have to be so innocent, this has got to be my favourite boat ive seen under this topic. Keep up the good work Soldier_2000

I also would like to see military ships - especially for the Portsmouth area.  I believe it was VSTEP who have said that there will NEVER be a ship created in Sketchup included in the sim.  I mention this so you don't put in a lot of work and then be disappointed.
There was a reskin of the Harbour Patrol vessel (P6) available for SS2006 (several other nice ones as well)but although these reskins can be imported into SS2008 I cannot find the download any more - page where they were held has been completely changed.

There was also another post someplace saying they will not put military ships in.  I wish they would (without the guns working) so I could drive a Battleship or a Carrier but there are enough Navy Combat games out there I guess.
